We are seeking a results-driven and experienced Sales Representative to join our team at [Trucking Company Name]. Responsibilities:

Conduct regular account reviews and business reviews to ensure customer satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.
Solution Selling:
Collaborate with internal teams, including operations and logistics, to develop customized transportation solutions that meet client requirements.
Present proposals, quotes, and presentations to clients, highlighting the value proposition of our services.
Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to close deals while maximizing profitability for the company.
Market Intelligence:
Stay informed about industry developments, regulatory changes, and market dynamics affecting the chemical and dry bulk transportation sectors.
Provide insights and recommendations to management based on market intelligence to inform strategic decision-making and product/service enhancements.
Sales Administration:
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales performance metrics using CRM software.
Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review.
Collaborate with the sales support team to ensure timely and accurate processing of orders and contracts.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the transportation or logistics industry with a focus on chemical or dry bulk transportation.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
Strong understanding of chemical and dry bulk transportation processes, regulations, and industry standards.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers.
Self-motivated with a proactive and results-oriented approach to sales.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office applications.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
