This IT SUPPORT SPECIALIST Position Features:

- Serve as the primary point of contact for Tier 1 and Tier 2 technicians, offering remote support for escalated service tickets.
- Diagnose and resolve user-reported issues with workstations, laptops, networks, systems, peripherals, and handheld devices.
- Troubleshoot software and third-party application problems.
- Maintain comprehensive system documentation and provide flexible after-hours support.
- Provide advanced technical support for Microsoft applications, M365, Azure, and network devices.
- Demonstrate basic knowledge of scripting languages and automation principles.
- Determine escalation paths and onsite presence requirements for complex issues.
- Adhere to service level agreements for incident resolution, escalating recurring issues or at-risk clients to management.
- Document internal processes and support the Project Team when needed.
- Foster prompt, professional communication and teamwork within the department.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service integration and delivery.
- Attend client meetings and stay updated on technology trends.
- Participate in huddles and meetings, contribute to organizational KPIs.
- Seek opportunities for personal and professional growth through continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

Professional IT Certifications, such as: Microsoft, Cisco, and VMware.
Advanced knowledge of Windows operating systems (7/8/10 and Server 2012, 2016, and beyond), Microsoft Office (2016+/365).
Familiarity with Azure Active Directory.
Advanced networking knowledge (DNS, switches, firewalls, VPN, etc.).?
Advanced understanding of operating systems, business applications, printing systems, and network systems.
Experience with standard MSP tools (ConnectWise, Autotask, BrightGuage, IT Glue, RMM)
