The Electro Mechanical Stretch Blow Molding Technician (* can come from Injection molding) plays a vital role in ensuring optimal production uptime by offering technical guidance and diagnostic expertise.

This position involves interpreting maintenance and reliability data, managing maintenance projects, and overseeing the efficiency of production and plant operations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Complete mold changes and line set-ups within specified timeframes. Possess hands-on processing skills, including mold startup, sampling, troubleshooting, cycle optimization, and mold changes. Visually and audibly inspect and test machinery to identify malfunctions for diagnosis and repair. Dismantle and install machine parts, following specifications and blueprints, using precision measuring instruments and hand tools. Manage control scraps, downtime, and machine utilization. Identify and report potential equipment and building issues. Follow product safety regulations and company procedures according to SQF code. Perform other assigned tasks.


Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
Extensive knowledge of plastic conveying and blender systems, compressed air systems, and water chiller/tower systems. Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals, schematics, drawings, parts manuals, and maintenance literature. Adherence to company policies, procedures, and industry standards. Flexibility to work overtime for emergency repairs. Ability to foster a team environment, multitask, and collaborate effectively. Proficient in personal computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook Email. Proficient in verbal and written English.

Qualifications/Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in a high-volume manufacturing environment. Preferred experience in PET Stretch Blow Molding or PET Injection Stretch Blow Molding; other Injection Molding and Blow Molding experience considered. Background in mold setup or mold change processing is preferred. Mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical troubleshooting and repair skills. Prior experience in PLC programming, troubleshooting, robot programming preferred. Forklift certification.

Must-Haves:
5 years of experience in blow molding or injection molding.
Ability to set up/change molds.

Shifts Available: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift positions available (all training will be done on 1st shift).
