Job Title: Inventory Analyst

Job Description:
? We are seeking an Inventory Analyst to safeguard, analyze, and monitor transactions affecting inventory. The ideal candidate will assist in developing internal controls to improve accuracy and prevent discrepancies. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate accounting records, managing product creation and maintenance, conducting inventory counts, and coordinating with various departments to ensure smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities:
? Maintain up-to-date accounting system data related to inventory.
? Create and maintain product components in the accounting system, including code and UPC assignment.
? Weigh and measure products for input into the accounting system.
? Create and maintain the Bill of Materials in the accounting system.
? Record merchandise receipts in the accounting system.
? Conduct daily cycle count inventory reviews.
? Review merchandise liquidations and make adjustments for differences in landed costs.
? Adjust inventory items as needed in collaboration with the Controller.
? Record inter-warehouse transfers in the accounting system.
? Analyze inventory needs for finished goods, raw materials, and packaging products, prepare draft purchase orders, and follow up with suppliers.
? Validate documentation for production steps and evaluate production documentation.
? Perform monthly accounting system reviews for production materials and evaluate needs based on schedules.

Requirements:
? Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting.
? Three (3) years of experience in a similar role.
? Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SAGE100.
