Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Junior Building Engineer to join our team. The Junior Building Engineer will work closely with our experienced engineering staff to support the maintenance and operation of our properties. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to kickstart their career in building engineering and gain valuable hands-on experience in the field.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems in commercial and residential properties
Conduct routine inspections of building systems and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues as they arise
Assist in the coordination of contractor activities and oversee projects related to building repairs and upgrades
Monitor energy consumption and implement measures to improve efficiency and reduce costs
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment inventory, and work orders
Participate in emergency response procedures and provide support during building emergencies
Collaborate with property management teams to address tenant concerns and ensure tenant satisfaction
Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines at all times

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in building maintenance or engineering preferred
Previous experience in building maintenance, facilities management, or related field is a plus
Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and adapt to changing priorities
Willingness to learn and take on new challenges in a fast-paced environment
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
