Position: Machinist
Location: Fremont, CA
Pay: Up to $27/hr

Skills Required:
• Interpreting engineering drawings and manufacturing to drawing requirements.
• Understanding GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) requirements.
• Writing manual programs for CNC machines.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD software.
• Machining of metal and non-metal materials.
• Operating Bridgeport CNC and manual milling machines, Bridgeport Romi CNC lathe, Surface Grinder, and Manual Lathe.

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Machining parts for cable over-molds according to detailed drawings or verbal instructions.
• Assembling and disassembling components to create functional parts.
• Writing manual programs for CNC to achieve finished machined products.
• Maintaining a high degree of initiative and judgment throughout each task.
• Making or repairing tools, fixtures, and jigs as required.
• Checking and measuring parts during machining to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Performing periodic maintenance on production equipment.
• Other duties as assigned by the Engineering Manager.

Education: AA/BA/BS in related field or equivalent work experience
Experience: At least 2 years' experience with basic machining skills
