We are looking for a Payment Posting Specialist to join our team in the Richardson, TX.

This is an onsite position.

Your will be responsible for accurately posting all payments received from Insurance, Patients, and other ancillary departments into computer systems. Supervisory Responsibilities:

What are the responsibilities?

• Enters and scans EOBs/denials/refunds requests.

• Enters hospital contract payments.

• Enters insurance payments: paper and EFT’s into USMON / Allscripts and allocates funds to the proper payment channel to ensure.

• Accurately posts payments and analyzes the EOB's to determine if it needs to be appealed or reprocessed for proper payment.

• Stays abreast of coding changes and updates to reimbursement guidelines per EOB explanations. • Scans and uploads all correspondence into SharePoint regarding patient and insurance payments.

• Reconciles daily deposit batches in USMon/ Allscripts vs. banking deposits.

• Participates in monthly reconciliation.

• Keeps current spreadsheet for deposits, balancing against bank totals, including exception report • Maintains spreadsheet for AR claim credit.

• Verifies if each claim was processed accurately, based on verification of benefits.

• Enters detailed notes for any claim that didn't process and pay accurately.

• Handles all medical record and billing record requests from third parties, including invoicing, posting payments, affidavits, and sending of MR.

• Handles all medical record requests from insurance, including invoicing if request is over 15 days of submitting claim, submits MR to insurance, and posts MR payment.

• Handles all refund requests from insurance, including researching the issue, determining if insurance is due back what they are requesting, and posting recoupments in USMON / All scripts.

• Handles all W-9 requests from insurance.

Handles all individual case agreements / proposals.

• Performs other related duties as assigned
