Job Title: Test Engineer 1

Location: Goleta

Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 4/10 work week

Duration: Temporary (8 months)



Job Summary:
A well known Medical device company is seeking a skilled Test Engineer to ensure our products meet rigorous quality standards. This role involves executing verification procedures, conducting studies, and providing support to design engineering.

Must-Haves:

BS degree in Electronics Technology/Engineering or related field with 0-2 years’ experience in technical and test engineering or equivalent work experience.
Strong analytical skills and proficient in technical report writing.
Familiarity with environmental testing and equipment.

Desired: Experience with high-level programming languages/software (e.g., Matlab, Lab View) for automated testing and data collection, Coding skills are all a plus!

Essential Functions:

Write and execute test procedures for design verification.
Communicate test results and identified issues to project leads.
Conduct studies to resolve design issues related to quality, manufacturability, and regulatory compliance.
Assist in troubleshooting product returns and field issues, recommending verification procedures.
Attendance:
Regular attendance is crucial for this role.

Additional Responsibilities:

Assist in evaluating test equipment for quality checks.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
