Short Description:

An ERP Technical Developer develops and maintains Enterprise Resource Development (ERP) software. Job duties include developing reports based on employee data, customizing elements of the ERP software system, adjusting the user interface and usability of ERP software, and updating the best practices guidelines.

Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Works directly with customers and other technical staff to resolve problems and provide technical assistance on applications in development and production.
  • Participates in moderately complex quality assurance and quality control tasks and performs research to remain informed of trends and changes in the industry.
  • Designs and develops complex custom integrations and integrations between enterprise platforms like ServiceNow or SQL Server and ERP systems; uses knowledge of reporting methods to design and develop ERP reports and extracts, transforms, and loads data between various data sources.

Skills / Requirements / Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor of Science degree, preferably in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or equivalent, is required.
  • Experience: 3+ years of programming experience with many of the following: Power BI, Advanced Excel, Oracle, PL/SQL, Salesforce, and Python experience is preferred.
  • Programming knowledge: Must have excellent SQL development knowledge/experience
  • Miscellaneous: Some ERP technical or functional experience is required; ideally, IFS experience must be able to apply ERP/IFS functionality deeper across multiple business units.
