The Culinary Arts

Hello -

This is Barb and I'm new to this board. I was just curious if anyone has any insight on the culinary arts (I am applying to Le Cordon Bleu for taking courses the beginning of 2006), this being in Pasadena, CA. Very excited but wanted to know if anyone can give any input as to what to look out for, etc..

This is Steve. I live in Glendora. I am a graduate of the CSCA in Pasadena.
I graduated in 2002. It is a great program but you must have a great passion to
attend this school. the shcool teaches the basics and it is strictly up to you
to be creative and apply your knowledge. I love cooking and have created some
recipes and do cater small parties from time to time.
I have worked in the culinary field for some restaurants.
Now I have created my own catering company to do part time. Full time
I work as a temp with Apple One.
Hope it helps.
Good Luck,
Steve S.
