Unemployment Posted: 09 Jul 2004 08:33 AM |
I'm going to start a 9/11 Journal of my unemployment experience. I've been "under-employed" since 10/12/01. I work as a part-time floating Sales Associate and have had several contract jobs and loads of interviews.
Wanted to find out how other are coping in similiar experiences of being unemployed/underemployed.
Thanks for any responses. |

| Thank you for your suggestion. I think you're right. Unemployment is a broad category that could spark many discussion threads. At your suggestion, we've created that new discussion category in our Career Zone. Feel free to post a new thread there, and best of luck as you continue to look for full employment. |

| I worked for almost six months at a frighteningly low wage for ever increasing responsibilities BEFORE the company decided that they couldn't afford me on full time permanent. My recruiter and I have given the company two weeks notice. My last day with them is on the 25th of February. I'm scared to death to be out of a job but can't keep starving my family now I know there is no chance of a perm hire for more money. |
Money and status do not mean the same thing. |
