Jobs in music industry

I am looking to find a job within the music industry. I know this is a hard thing to do, but I thought I could start in the mail room or in an admn. ast. position. I also have my resume on monster, that's how I found appleone in the first place. This company seemed to have a lot of jobs that fit my criteria, but now that I am actually on the site itself; I can't seem to find any jobs that are what I am looking for. Does anyone have any suggestions for me? I know that networking is the best tool, however I have just moved here from seattle and know very few people.

| Sure! I am actually a singer....but, I need a day job to pay the bills you know? I really want to do something within the music industry because I think the networking world be great, not to mention all the things that you could learn, but don't get me wrong I am not just in it to get something I am a hard worker too! I would love to help someone eles out as well! What kind of work are your looking for? Is it within productions or are you going to start somewhere are work your way up? |

| I want to sing primarily. I play guitar and I do vocals. I would like to be somewhere in music production. I used to work for Universal Studios Entertainment until 9/11. For obvious reasons no one would travel to Orlando. But I did meet some bands and contributed as an Event Coordinator for many events. I did that for a few years. I want to really step up and maybe manage someone who has talent. It's up in the air right now. Do you live here in Florida? |
