Stakeholder Focused Performance Management Posted: 08 May 2006 02:42 AM |
New approach to strategy.
Over the past 10-15 years the Balanced Scorecard has played an increasing role in strategy performance management, but still does not effectively tie strategy and action together.
Furthermore weaknesses of the approach include lack of inclusion of all stakeholders. Stakeholders all have an impact on the firm, so management needs to take their expectations into account when developing strategy, as well as their contributions.(Stakeholder contributions may be critical to the success of the organisation.)
Following from these shortfalls, I developed over the last 7 years an integrated method which provides a comprehensive approach to strategy planning, implementation of strategic planning and monitoring of strategic planning. I call this Stakeholder Focused Performance Management. This approach ensures that a business is run more ethically by ensuring all interests of stakeholders are at least acknowledged by the business when performing strategy, and could lead to a reduction in fraud while leading to greater profitability.
I am interested to find out if their are companies looking for finance/strategy placings, as I will be relocating to the USA shortly (My wife has been offered a position in San Diego), and I would like to be able to make a contribution to business through sharing my skills and experience (12 years financial management / controllership at CFO level, plus 7 years business consulting.
I will be looking to focus on Corporate Performance Management, which included Financial management as well as Non-Financial measures Management and strategy planning.
Look forward to feedback.
