We are looking for a motivated and energetic Quality Assurance Manager to join our team. This position will oversee the quality assurance department including total product/package quality, regulatory compliance, GMPs, and more. We are looking for the right person to partner with us in our company expansion and growth - someone with in depth experience leading and managing an SQF food safety certification. Responsibilities:
· Responsible for direct management of all Quality Assurance associates.
· Responsible for ensuring Food Safety and Food Quality policies and procedures are adhered to including but not limited by SQF Code, HACCP, Flour Fusion Quality and any customer quality requirements.
· Responsible for direct management and coordination of internal / external product sampling (i.e. sensory, microbiology testing) and environmental testing.
· Optimize resources while ensuring raw materials and finished product meet specifications and manufacturing standards and in accordance with FDA, GMP's, HACCP, and all other governmental policies, procedures, and regulations.
· Oversee daily Quality Assurance inspections to ensure all products are meeting compliance.
· Write, update, and maintain SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures) for Food Safety Management Program.
· Responsible for scheduling and leading internal auditing to support continuous improvements, shared best practices, and teamwork.
· Leads the development and implementation of Food Safety Fundamentals, the Food Safety Plans for all manufacturing and raw material holding sites.
· Oversee development, implementation, review and maintenance of SQF program.
· Communicate to relevant personnel all information essential to ensure the effective implementation and maintenance of SQF.

Qualifications:
· Preferred bachelor’s degree in food science or related science field.
· Minimum of 5 years in production/manufacturing and direct management experience. Food/beverage industry experience required.
· SQF Practitioner certification.
· Strong analytical skills with knowledge about GMP, HACCP, SQF, and Allergen.
· Commitment to safety and a clean work environment.
