The Account Manager is responsible for driving sales and achieving profitability objectives through the effective management of indirect and direct sales channels. This role entails building and maintaining strong relationships with distributors, sales teams, and partners while representing the company’s products and services. The Account Manager ensures performance goals are met through strategic planning, relationship management, and proactive engagement.

Job Responsibilities:

Achieve assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives through direct and indirect sales channels.
Establish productive, professional relationships with distributors, sales teams, and key channel partners.
Lead a structured planning process to develop mutual performance objectives, KPIs, financial targets, and milestones for successful channel partnerships.
Evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of sales channels and implement strategies to enhance performance and address gaps.
Continuously assess, clarify, and validate channel needs to ensure alignment with company goals.
Maintain consistent and effective communication with sales channels to foster engagement and motivation.
Conduct competitive analysis and provide market insights, including competitor activities, product feedback, and channel performance.
Deliver regular progress reports on channel performance and propose solutions to overcome challenges.
Stay updated on company products and services, developing sales strategies that drive growth and effectiveness.
Proactively recruit and qualify new business leads to expand the company's channel network.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree required.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in channel/distribution sales and management.
Exceptional interpersonal, relationship-building, and presentation skills.
Positive attitude with the ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
Proven ability to analyze market data, develop strategies, and achieve results.
Willingness to travel within the U.S. as required.
Detail-oriented with a proactive mindset and problem-solving capabilities.
