Pay $30/hr.
JOB SUMMARY:
The ideal candidate will have a 4-year degree in Accounting or Finance, hands-on experience with QuickBooks Enterprise, and be comfortable handling a variety of accounting functions, mainly Accounts Receivable (A/R). With some Accounts Payable (A/P), and General Ledger.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Receivable (A/R):
Generate and send invoices to clients based on project milestones or contracted terms.
Monitor and track client payments, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded.
Follow up on overdue accounts and resolve any billing issues or disputes.
Accounts Payable (A/P):
Process vendor bills and ensure timely payment processing.
Review and verify expenses, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
Reconcile accounts payable and ensure all liabilities are appropriately recorded.
General Ledger (GL) Support:
Assist in maintaining the general ledger, posting journal entries, and reconciling accounts.
Help prepare monthly and year-end closing entries, including bank reconciliations.
Payroll Processing (as needed):
Assist with payroll processing, ensuring accurate calculation of employee hours and deductions.
Work closely with HR and management to maintain accurate payroll records.
QuickBooks Enterprise:
Utilize QuickBooks Enterprise for managing accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and GL functions.
Generate financial reports and assist with month-end closing activities.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2-5 years of accounting experience, with a focus on accounts receivable.
Experience with QuickBooks Enterprise is required; familiarity with other accounting software is a plus.
Basic payroll knowledge is preferred but not required.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
