Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Accountant to manage daily financial transactions, prepare reports, and support month-end and year-end closings. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Record and analyze daily financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
Prepare and review journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, and account analyses.
Assist in month-end and year-end close processes, including preparation of financial statements.
Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and other key accounts.
Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Support audits by preparing documentation and providing relevant information.
Contribute to process improvements within the accounting function.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and provide reporting insights.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in accounting or related roles.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar ERP systems).
Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
CPA or working towards certification.
Familiarity with financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements.
