This Accountant Position Features:
• This role is part-time initially, of 20 to 25 hours, however if strong collections/accounts receivable, then can potentially be full-time hours of up to 40 hours a week.
• cozy/family like environment, with some flexibility of part time hours, provide can work during business hours, of 8am to 5pm. No evening hours available.

• Great Pay of $35 to $38 an hour, potentially $40 an hour once hired full-time or directly.

Immediate need for a collections/accounts receivable role/payroll accountant seeking a great opportunity for a client that provides construction industry materials. Will start off part-time, and if the candidate has experience with Sage 100 Contractor experience, sold Excel experience may consider for full-time hours, of up to 40 hours or so.

Accounts Receivable operations generally include bookkeeping, preparing monthly journal entries, account reconciliations, assistance with tracking and reporting of capital projects and fixed asset activity, assistance with monthly inventory close, account analysis in connection with monthly closing of the books, preparation of quarterly and annual audit schedules and billing/invoicing accounts receivable.
Collections involves debt collection, liens, pre-liens, and cross communication with accounts payable. Payroll operations generally include employee relations, overseeing employee benefit plans, maintaining records of all transactions and overseeing payroll services - including vacation, sick leave, worker’s compensation, 401k, etc.

Job Requirements:
• Knowledge of business accounting and software integration – Sage 100 Contractor.
• Sitting, standing and moving throughout the day and ability to lift approximately 10 lbs
multiple times throughout the day as needed (files, mail, etc.).
• Ability to speak, read, and write English. Even better if bilingual (Spanish).
• Professional customer service skills.
• Mathematical skills.
• Problem solving skills and reasoning ability.
• Ability to work 5 days/week, 20 to 25 hours a week, eventually up to 40 hours/week.
