We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform daily accounting tasks, including data entry, invoice processing, and payment posting.
• Reconcile accounts and ensure accurate financial record-keeping.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Prepare and maintain various financial reports and statements.
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Communicate with vendors and clients to resolve any billing or payment discrepancies.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records and files.
• Support the accounting team with various administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as an Accounting Clerk or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
