We are currently looking for an Accounting Specialist to join our team. The Accounting Specialist is responsible for managing daily financial transactions, preparing reports, and supporting budgeting processes. This role ensures accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and company policies and contributes to the overall financial health of the organization.

The Accounting Specialist will process accounts payable and receivable in a timely and accurate manner and reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
The Accounting Specials will prepare financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements, assist with month-end and year-end close processes, and maintain financial records and documentation.

In this role you will support audits by providing necessary documentation and reports, ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards, and assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.

The Accounting Specialist will collaborate with other departments to resolve financial discrepancies, as well as manage expense reports and reimbursements.

Requirements
Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
2 or more years of experience in accounting or finance.
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial principles.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience in payroll, tax filings, or inventory accounting
Certification such as CPA, CMA, or equivalent (a plus)
Familiarity with ERP systems
