Our client is looking for a highly motivated Accounts Receivable Analyst. The ideal candidate will manage the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of accounts. Additionally, the Accounts Receivable Analyst will be required to perform routine calculations, postings, and verify duties to obtain financial data to maintain accounting records. Reporting directly to the A/R Manager, you will assist in the development and implementation of goals, policies, and procedures relating to Accounts Receivable.
Key Responsibilities:
• Process incoming payments accurately applying them to the appropriate
• Checking initial claim status to ensure claim’s processing has begun
• Tracking and resolving outstanding payment issues
• Generate weekly aging spreadsheet with timely dates from insurance carrier guidelines
• Prepare and maintain various reports
• Conduct account research and analysis
• Identify reimbursement policies outlined by individual insurance carriers
• Identify medical coverage policies outlined by individual insurance carriers
• Submitting verbal/written claim appeals
• Make daily collection calls to insurance carriers Submitting claim review requests to upper management for adjustment or closure
Qualifications:
• At least 3 years of Medical Collections experience
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proven track record of success and can articulate the results.
