Responsibilities:
• Process and post customer payments in an accurate and timely manner
• Reconcile accounts, ensuring accurate records of all transactions
• Monitor and follow up on outstanding invoices, contacting customers as needed
• Prepare and send billing statements and reports
• Resolve payment discrepancies and work closely with internal teams to maintain account accuracy
• Maintain and update customer account records in the accounting system
• Assist with month-end closing procedures and generate financial reports as needed
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations
Requirements:
• 3+ years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, or a related accounting role
• Strong knowledge of accounts receivable processes, invoicing, and collections
• Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize work effectively
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Experience working in manufacturing, construction, or related industries is a plus
