Now hiring for a 6 month contractor to join the team in Menlo Park, CA within an Administrative capacity for the mailroom team!
Within this role, We are seeking a meticulous and organized individual for our fast-paced mailroom operations.
Responsibilities include receiving, sorting, and distributing incoming mail and packages, maintaining detailed records, and scanning and organizing electronic copies of mail. The role also involves liaising with various departments to ensure timely delivery, maintaining a clean and organized mailroom, and providing excellent customer service to internal staff and external contacts.
The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, the ability to work independently, strong computer proficiency, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Additional duties:
? Receive and sort mail:
? receive incoming mail and packages
? sort and distribute electronically according to department or recipient
? Record keeping:
? scanning and organizing electronic copies of received mail
? Maintaining detailed logs of incoming and outgoing mail and
packages
? track and document deliveries
? Mailroom Organization:
? Maintain a clean and organized mailroom
? Interdepartmental coordination:
? Liaise with various departments to ensure timely and accurate
mail distribution
? Customer Service:
? Provide excellent customer service to internal staff and
external contacts, promptly addressing any mail related inquiries
Skills:
? Professional, quick learner with a positive attitude
? Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
? Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
? Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Google Drive
? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Pay: $25/hour
Temporary - 6 month contract with possibility of extension
M-F work schedule
100% onsite role
