Educational/University Institute is looking to hire an Admissions Manager who has intermediate FLUENCY in Mandarin, Japanese, Korean or Vietnamese.

Duties & Responsibilities
Enrollment Management:

· Oversees the University’s strategic process to attract and retain students with the goal to increase overall enrollment, student engagement, and graduation rates.

· Works with the CEO and COO to establish realistic metrics for admission and enrollment of students consistent with long and short-term strategic plans.

· Develops and implements a multi-dimensional, student and market-focused recruitment strategy to attain targeted enrollment goals. Initiates and innovates to ensure professional and effective recruitment efforts.

· Collaborates with program leadership to assure all recruitment efforts are carried out consistent with institutional and programmatic needs.

· Plans and conducts recruitment and admissions open house sessions and other special events to promote academic programs.

· Assures representation of the University at college fairs and other events that focus on the recruitment of students to University programs.

· Works with program staff to maintain accurate data regarding all program inquiries, including indication of follow up activities for each inquiry.

· Maintains complete and well-organized admissions files and documentation for all prospective students at all stages of the admissions process and the appropriate entry of pertinent data into the University’s databases.

· Conducts and/or facilitates face-to-face or phone interviews for all applicants with appropriate University staff. Coordinates interviews and/or introductions of prospective candidates with other University faculty, students or staff as appropriate.

· Works closely with the financial aid staff to assure that new students have appropriate information regarding the financing of their graduate level studies, and demonstrate a working knowledge of federal financial aid policies and procedures at a Title IV institution.

· Participates in twice monthly Administrative Staff meetings to affirm awareness of all issues and happenings within the University and to provide updates regarding the progress of enrollment efforts.

· Responsibly manages the admissions budget and tracks all admissions metrics, and provides reports weekly status

· Collaborates and participates in the coordination of University efforts contributing to student success and retention including advising on market conditions, tuition pricing, financial aid, academic and career counseling and curricular reform.

Qualifications:

· A bachelor’s degree with at least two-years prior higher education recruitment, admissions, and enrollment experience as well as the following attributes/skills

. Intermediate Mandarin speaker

· Excellent phone and face-to-face communication skills

· Technology skills for tracking program inquiries and finances

· Collegial, collaborative and cooperative work habits, as well as a team orientation

· Well-developed personal, time and budget management skills

· High energy, enthusiasm and a positive interpersonal orientation
