Join us as our new **Assistant Manager** and play an essential role in our South Hill, VA, location! We’re looking for an ambitious individual ready to support day-to-day operations and grow with us, working toward a future General Manager role. As the Assistant Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing quality service, supervising staff, and ensuring smooth operations in our fast-paced environment.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Support the Store Manager in daily operations, including scheduling, inventory management, and customer service
- Lead and supervise a team of up to 15 employees, fostering a positive and efficient work atmosphere
- Ensure all team members adhere to food safety standards and maintain a clean, organized environment
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues with a positive, solutions-oriented approach
- Assist with ordering and inventory management to keep supplies stocked and minimize waste
- Support sales tracking, cost control, and overall financial health of the restaurant
- Serve as the acting Store Manager when needed, ensuring seamless operations
- Promote an environment of growth and learning for all team members, including yourself

**Qualifications:**

- **ServSafe Certification** (or willingness to obtain)
- Prior experience supervising or managing people, ideally in groups of up to 15
- Restaurant or food service experience is preferred but not required
- Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills
- Desire to advance into a General Manager position
- Flexible schedule, including availability on weekends and holidays
