Our law firm is seeking a full-time associate attorney to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to learn from senior and litigation associates, provide legal counsel to clients, and handle various legal responsibilities. Key duties include advising clients on no-fault issues, property damage, and personal injury; maintaining client communication; setting up cases with insurance carriers; researching legal issues; facilitating investigations; documenting case statuses; negotiating settlements; preparing legal documents; and appearing in hearings and mediations. The ideal candidate must be admitted to the NYS Bar, have strong knowledge of PC applications and Microsoft Office, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. A Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school is required, and prior experience in individual income tax preparation is preferred but not required. Benefits are available for full-time candidates.
