Position Overview:

As an Audit Manager, you will oversee a mix of corporate audits (60%) and ERISA/401(k) audits (40%) for private companies in various industries such as distribution, construction, manufacturing, and other related sectors. The firm is looking for someone who can roll up their sleeves and work hands-on with clients across different industries, while also leading and mentoring audit staff. Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage corporate audits, ensuring compliance with professional standards and completion within deadlines.
Oversee ERISA and 401(k) audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Manage and mentor staff auditors on various engagements, providing guidance and development.
Review financial statements, audit reports, and other deliverables, ensuring accuracy and quality.
Provide recommendations for operational improvements based on audit findings.
Coordinate with clients to gather necessary documentation, manage expectations, and maintain strong relationships throughout the audit process.
Manage a portfolio of clients in distribution, construction, manufacturing, and related industries.
Foster long-term positive client relationships and deliver high-quality services.
Qualifications:

CPA certification is required.
1-3 years of experience in an Audit Management role, with recent experience in ERISA and 401(k) audits.
Strong knowledge of auditing standards, financial reporting, and internal controls.
Experience managing corporate audits (60%) and ERISA/401(k) audits (40%).
Experience with private companies in industries such as distribution, construction, manufacturing, and others.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
