Bid Coordinator
Duties:
· Provide support to Estimators during time limit deadlines
· Monitoring upcoming bids for addendums
· Preparing bid packages and prequalification submittals
· Solicit subcontractors and vendors for quotes
· Advertise and complete all DBE good faith effort requirements
· Prepare spreadsheets for electronic and/or manual Bid books
· Maintain subcontractor database
· Order Bonds from Insurance Surety Broker
· Process and track all owner, subcontractor, and material supplier contracts and follow through until executed
Qualifications:
· High School Diploma or GED equivalent (some college coursework preferred)
· Prior experience preparing bids for public works projects
· Must have or be willing to get CA notary license
· MS Office Suite experience
· Detail oriented and organized
· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
· Ability to work well under pressure
· Ability to multitask and prioritize
