An agricultural company located in Ventura, CA is seeking a Bilingual Human Resources Specialist to join their team! The ideal candidate will be well-versed in employee relations, leaves of absence, compliance & safety, and recruitment.

Pay: $24-$35 an hour
Location: On-site in Ventura, CA
Duration: Temp-to-Hire or Direct Hire
Schedule: Full-time, M-F, 8am-5pm

Job Duties:
• Serve as the first point of contact for employees and managers regarding workplace issues, including conflicts, performance concerns, and interpersonal challenges.
• Administer all types of employee leaves, including Family and Medical Leave (FMLA), short-term disability, workers’ compensation, and personal leave, ensuring compliance with federal and state laws.
• Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, interviews, and selection.
• Assist with HR projects and initiatives as needed, including training, performance reviews, and policy updates.

Qualifications:
- Must be bilingual in English & Spanish
- Minimum of 3 years of HR experience with a focus on employee relations, leave management, and recruiting.
- Proficient in HRIS systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and recruitment tools.
