Immediate need for a Spanish Bilingual Paralegal. This position is remote, but INCUMBENT WILL NEED TO LIVE IN THE SF BAY AREA and available to train the first day in Novato. In this position, you will manage a caseload of Personal Injury and Wrongful Death cases from intake through trial and case resolution in various jurisdictions. Conduct phone interviews and produce clear and concise written notes. Responsible for tracking and meeting all deadlines both in house and according to Code of Civil Procedure and court deadlines. Prepares and reviews various documents, including letters, pleadings such as complaints, DOE Amendments, 998 Offer to Compromise, Case Management statements etc. Works closely with case attorneys and documents and case issues. Requires Excellent computer skills in WordPerfect, Excel, Word, Adobe and other programs. Ability to speak, write and read English at a college level. Typing speed of 45 WPM. Attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Work under tight deadlines. Ability to handle high volume of work and multi task. BA degree OR Paralegal Certificate required.
