Growing and dynamic charter school is looking to hire (20) Bilingual Spanish Front Desk Office Coordinator's for various schools in 90001, 90002, 90003, 90022, 90037,90044, 90062, 90063, 90071, 90089, 90255 and 90270 locations.
**Previous experience working in education in an office administration capacity at the elementary, middle school, high school or college level is a HUGE plus
Health/Background Check Requirements:
***Worker pays out of pocket cost for both tests, and will be reimbursed back 100% of cost with receipt***
•Must be fully vaccinated and provide proof (no boosters need) – NO EXEMPTIONS ACCEPTED
•Must submit and pass a DOJ/FBI Fingerprint Live Scan background check once hired to start the job
•Must have a TB Test administered and receive a negative result once hired to start the job
Job Responsibilities:
•Answers phone, route calls promptly and correctly to the proper staff person or voicemail, correctly and politely take messages when necessary.
•Greet students, parent, faculty, staff and victors.
•Utilize school-based communication systems (i.e. Google Docs, Excel, Outlook and School Messenger).
•Translates from Spanish to English and distributes school correspondence including but not limited to: letters, memos, and weekly bulletins.
•Assists in the translation of parent meetings, including Individualized Education Plan (IEP) meetings.
•Assists in preparing facilities for the upcoming programs and events (e.g. bulletin boards, signage, flyers, pamphlets, etc.).
•Filing, faxing, scanning and photocopying documents.
•Assist to ensure emergency medical and contact information for all students is up-to-date.
•Assists to ensure school has complete and current immunization records for all students.
•Respond to emails from staff, faculty, visitors & parent requests as appropriate.
•Responsible for sending direct mail and other notices that need to be sent home by the school.
•Maintain student medical, student early dismissal, visitor, and parent volunteer logs.
•Update system with address and student information changes as needed.
•Accept mail and deliveries and route to appropriate recipient.
•Support planning and execution of school-wide events and fundraisers.
•Coordinate purchasing/distribution for materials and services.
•Supports daily attendance procedures and accuracy of students’ daily attendance.
•Oversees completion of all facilities request submitted at the school.
Skills Requirements:
•2+ years of front desk and or office support experience.
•Strong customer service skills is required.
Computer Skills Required:
•Proficient with Google Docs, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook.
Education Requirements:
•High school diploma or GED required.
•Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
