Bilingual Workers Compensation Paralegal

Seeking a Bilingual (English/Spanish) Workers' Compensation Paralegal to manage case files, coordinate with all parties, and support attorneys from case initiation to settlement. This role requires strong organization, multitasking, and communication skills in a fast-paced legal environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Set up and maintain case files, ensuring all pending issues are addressed.
• Communicate with applicants, attorneys, adjusters, and medical providers.
• Prepare and file legal pleadings, petitions, and correspondence.
• Obtain and manage medical, employment, and financial records.
• Review medical and deposition reports and prepare summaries for attorneys.
• Follow up on joinders, discovery, and settlement negotiations with defendants.
• Assist attorneys in preparing for hearings and status conferences.
• Conduct corporate and insurance coverage searches.
• Maintain accurate case notes, update databases, and submit reports.
• Ensure compliance with deadlines and case filing requirements.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree and/or Paralegal Certificate (ABA-accredited preferred) OR 1-2 years of legal experience.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) – required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and LexisNexis.
• Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and manage high-volume work.
• Typing speed of at least 35 WPM.

This is a REMOTE position. Must live within Bay Area, Ca.
