We are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Bookkeeper/Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing our bookkeeping needs, including all aspects of accounting and payroll. Responsibilities:
Manage payroll processing and ensure timely and accurate payments.
Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
Perform multiple bank reconciliations and maintain accurate record-keeping.
Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
Assist with the month-end close process to ensure accuracy in financial statements. Generate and analyze financial reports to provide insights and support decision-making. Handle various banking tasks as required.

Qualifications:
Construction experience mandatory
Previous experience in accounting or a related field.
Fundamental knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Proficient with Xero accounting software (at least 2 years of experience required).
Detail-oriented and deadline-oriented mindset.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Required Experience:
A minimum of 2 years of experience with Xero is REQUIRED.
Previous bookkeeping experience is a must.
Any additional qualifications or certifications in accounting are a plus.
