Are you a detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper with a background in the manufacturing industry? Do you have experience in millworking or woodworking and a passion for managing financial records? Join our team in Portland, Oregon, and play a key role in supporting our growing millworking business!
What You’ll Do:
? Manage all aspects of accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries
? Reconcile bank statements, credit cards, and financial accounts to ensure accuracy
? Prepare and analyze financial statements (balance sheets, profit & loss, etc.)
? Handle month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and accruals
? Process payroll, including deductions, taxes, and compliance with state and federal regulations
? Maintain and update inventory records and cost of goods sold (COGS) for millworking projects
? Oversee accounts reconciliation, including job costing and project tracking
? Ensure compliance with manufacturing financial standards and tax regulations
? Assist with financial forecasting, budgeting, and reporting
What We’re Looking For:
? 3+ years of full-charge bookkeeping experience, preferably in the manufacturing or millworking industry
? Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations
? Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software
? Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.)
? Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
? Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
? Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
? Knowledge of inventory management and cost tracking in a manufacturing environment
