Organization in Lexington, SC is looking for a Bookkeeper!
Responsibilities:
-Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and collections.
-Assist in budgeting processes by providing necessary financial data and analysis.
-Ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
-Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow to ensure sufficient funds are available for operations.
-Handle debits and credits efficiently while maintaining accurate ledgers.
-Collaborate with management to develop strategies for improving financial performance.
Requirements:
-Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role is preferred.
-Strong understanding of financial concepts, including budgeting, payroll processing, and financial report writing.
-Familiarity with GAAP principles and practices is highly desirable.
-Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
-Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment and with our covenant members.
-Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data accurately.
-Knowledge of debits and credits is necessary for maintaining accurate accounts.
