Job Posting: Branch Manager

Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Branch Manager to oversee the daily operations of a full-service bank branch. The role involves managing client services, product sales, security, and compliance with state and federal regulations. This is an in-office position with a focus on team leadership, customer service, and branch profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

Management:

Hire and develop branch staff to ensure excellent customer service
Conduct regular one-on-one meetings to discuss team needs and goals
Train staff on sales and service techniques
Promote core deposit growth and track branch performance
Ensure staff are informed on policy changes and properly trained
Address non-performance issues swiftly in line with bank policies
Conduct annual performance and compensation reviews
Maintain security and safety standards for the branch and train staff accordingly

Operations:
Oversee branch profitability, cost control, and marketing efforts
Partner with operations staff to ensure audit compliance and procedural adherence
Approve large transactions and review daily financial reports
Ensure compliance with banking regulations and policies

Customer Service:
Enforce superior customer service through leadership and training
Handle complex customer transactions and resolve issues diplomatically
Proactively manage client concerns and retain customers
Create a welcoming and friendly environment for both staff and customers

Sales Leadership:
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve branch goals
Research the market to identify growth opportunities
Coach staff on sales skills and cross-selling bank products
Build strong customer relationships and promote business growth
Partner with senior management to align sales and marketing efforts

Community Relations:
Promote the bank’s CRA policies and participate in community events
Complete a minimum of 10 hours of CRA volunteer work per year
Supervisory Responsibilities:

Manage 2+ branch employees, providing guidance and training
Assess staff performance, address issues, and conduct evaluations
Manage employee schedules and timecards

Qualifications:
7+ years in a branch environment, with 5+ years in branch management
3+ years managing complex business and consumer accounts
Proven track record of sales and branch growth
Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and banking software
Notary Public certification preferred
Active involvement in local community organizations
