We're looking for a Branch Operations Specialist to join our team and support the growth and success of our branch operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring operational excellence, team development, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership:
• Schedule and manage branch staff to ensure excellent customer service and operational coverage.
• Maintain and review operational standards, documentation, and adherence to bank policies.
• Oversee branch security, cash limits, and compliance with security protocols.
• Handle daily operational reports, file maintenance, and exception approvals within established limits.
• Perform teller duties, open new accounts, and review new account openings for accuracy and compliance.
Customer Service:
• Provide personalized banking solutions and resolve escalated client concerns with creativity and diplomacy.
• Assist in customer retention and offer appropriate financial products based on client needs.
Team Development:
• Provide training, guidance, and mentorship to staff, fostering professional development.
• Assist the Branch Manager in performance evaluations, goal setting, and addressing performance matters.
• Recognize staff achievements and encourage a collaborative, positive workplace culture.
• Regulatory and Community Involvement:
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and operational standards.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 5 years of banking experience, with 2 years in operations and 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and banking applications.
• Strong knowledge of banking products, services, and operational processes.
• Exceptional problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills.
