Job Title: Sales Representative
Job Details: The Sales Representative’s primary role is to provide complete and appropriate solutions for every customer, boosting top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels, and profitability. The Sales Representative will identify potential customers, sell the company’s products to customers, and maintain positive business relationships to ensure future sales.
Responsibilities:
• Use networking and research tools to identify and qualify potential new customers.
• Develop working knowledge of the company’s products and understanding of how those products are utilized/applied.
• Complete internal documentation, as needed, to ensure accurate quoting of customer-required products.
• Close sales with customers and follow-up on completed sales to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Develop and maintain solid business relationships with existing customers to understand their needs.
• Maintain adequate customer contact records, including tracking phone/email/in-person calls with each.
• Participate in training sessions, meetings, and conferences, as required.
Details:
• Days: Monday to Friday 8 AM - 5 PM
• Workplace Type: On-site, on the road
• Pay: $100K
Ideal Candidate/Qualifications:
• Prior knowledge of corrugated packaging or related industries is required.
• Familiarity with the market conditions in the assigned territory is required.
• Ability to react promptly to changes and to identify and solve basic problems.
• Working knowledge of MS Office and other business software.
• A strong analytical mindset and outstanding organizational skills are helpful.
• 2-4 year degree in business is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
• Must be able to remain in a stationary position (sit, stand).
• The person in this position needs to regularly move about to meet with customers.
• This person must operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
• Must have reliable transportation and can travel to/from/between customer accounts. In addition, this person may be asked to make small deliveries to their assigned customer accounts.
• The person in this position frequently communicates with production and office staff.
• Must be able to inspect goods and customer locations, as needed.
