Certified Payroll Assistant – Join a High-Performing Team!
We have an excellent opportunity for a Certified Payroll Assistant to join our small but high-performing company, where your expertise in certified payroll, QuickBooks Desktop, and Excel will be highly valued. This hands-on position is essential to keeping operations running smoothly in a fast-paced environment. While this role offers limited upward advancement in the near future, it provides valuable experience in certified payroll processing and financial record management.
In this role, you will process and report payroll through LCP Tracker and L&I for public works and prevailing wage projects, maintain accurate QuickBooks Desktop records, and ensure timely data entry and financial reporting. You will also utilize advanced Excel skills for data analysis and financial tracking, assist with administrative and office management tasks, and adapt and problem-solve while managing multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
We are looking for candidates with experience in certified payroll, knowledge of LCP Tracker, L&I reporting, and prevailing wage/public works jobs. Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop (not just QuickBooks Online) and strong Excel skills, including data analysis, formulas, and reporting, are essential. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to stay organized, adaptable, and efficient while handling shifting priorities, are also required.
Join us and be part of a supportive and tight-knit team that values collaboration. Gain hands-on experience in payroll and accounting operations, and contribute to impactful projects that make a difference in the community. If this sounds like the right fit, please send an updated resume highlighting your certified payroll and QuickBooks Desktop experience, along with a brief note on why you’d be a great addition to the team. This opportunity will fill quickly, so reach out as soon as possible!.
