Searching for candidates with a background in customer service and administrative support within a city or municipal government setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing public inquiries, assisting with daily office tasks, and providing exceptional support to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the first point of contact for public inquiries, handling questions via phone, email, and in-person with professionalism and courtesy.
Assist residents, businesses, and other stakeholders with services, applications, and documentation requirements.
Provide administrative support to various departments, including preparing reports, processing forms, and maintaining records.
Schedule and coordinate appointments, meetings, and public events.
Process payments and manage related documentation for various city services and permits.
Maintain and organize office files and records, ensuring all data is up-to-date and accurate.
Collaborate with team members and other departments to streamline workflows and improve customer service processes.
Uphold city policies, guidelines, and procedures in all interactions and tasks.
