Cloud/Web Service Administrator
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Skills:
Proficiency in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
Experience with web services and system administration
Strong problem-solving skills
Excellent communication abilities
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator) are a plus
Knowledge of automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) is preferred
Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and DevOps practices
Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure and web services
Monitor performance, availability, and security of cloud and web services
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
Implement security measures and best practices
Optimize cloud resources for cost-efficiency and scalability
Manage backup and disaster recovery plans
Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams
Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in cloud computing and web services
