Our client’s growing firm is looking for a motivated Collections Specialist! The ideal candidate will be responsible for contacting individuals with overdue payments, delinquent accounts, or outstanding debt. It is required that the candidate can negotiate repayment plans, resolve payment issues, and relay information on financial options to assist customers. Additionally, the candidate will have strong communication skills, be discreet, and can foster an environment of trust and care for our clients’ desired outcomes. Collection Specialist should display excellent organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Establish repayment plans and schedules based on customers’ financial situation.
• Notify customers about delinquent accounts by phone, mail, or email.
• Answer customer questions related to issues with their accounts.
• Report information regarding their financial status and collections efforts.
Qualifications:
• Ability to actively listen and negotiate.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proven track record of success and can articulate the results.
• Ability to handle confidential and proprietary information discreetly.
