POSITION SUMMARY:
As a Commercial Property Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of a portfolio of commercial properties, ensuring their effective management and tenant satisfaction. You will work closely with property owners, tenants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure properties are well-maintained, rent is collected, and all contractual obligations are met. This role requires the ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities with a keen eye for detail and excellent organizational skills.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Property Management: Oversee the operations, maintenance, and leasing of commercial properties, ensuring that properties meet the company’s high standards of service and performance.
Tenant Relations: Manage tenant communications, address concerns promptly, and work to resolve any issues to maintain strong tenant retention.
Lease Management: Assist with drafting, reviewing, and managing leases, ensuring all terms and conditions are adhered to.
Move-In/Move-Out Coordination: Coordinate tenant move-ins and move-outs, ensuring property condition assessments and security deposit returns are handled efficiently.
Accounting Support: Assist with basic accounting tasks, including the collection of rent payments, monitoring financial records, processing invoices, and preparing reports.
Administrative Support: Maintain accurate records, prepare reports on property performance, and manage inventory for building supplies and equipment.
Problem Solving: Identify areas for operational improvement and implement strategies to increase property efficiency, minimize costs, and maximize tenant satisfaction.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Commercial Property Experience: At least 2+ years of commercial real estate experience, with a proven track record in property management or a related role.
Education: A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is required.
Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to property management software.
Excellent Communication: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with tenants, owners, contractors, and team members.
Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, prioritize competing demands, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Professionalism: Strong business ethics, a commitment to company values, and a polished, professional demeanor in all interactions.
Self-Motivated & Team-Oriented: Ability to work independently while being a supportive and cooperative team player.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
Competitive salary range of $80k - $95k, based on experience and expertise.
