Commercial General Contractor specializing in commercial, healthcare, education, and industrial pre- to post-construction services is looking to add an accomplished Commercial Superintendent to their Team. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, thorough understanding of construction processes, and the ability to coordinate various trades to ensure timely and quality project completion.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily on-site operations, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and
schedule requirements and staying within budget.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, laborers, and vendors.
• Maintain project timelines and ensure milestones are met.
• Conduct regular site inspections and enforce safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, subcontractors, clients, and on-site
teams.
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and contracts.
• Resolve job site conflicts and unforeseen issues promptly.
• Track and manage materials, equipment, and workforce needs.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.
Qualifications/Requirements:
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of start to finish commercial experience as a
Construction Superintendent
• Education: Bachelor's degree
• Certifications: OSHA 30, First Aid/CPR (preferred).
• Skills: Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Technical Knowledge: Ability to read and interpret blueprints, manage budgets, and
use project management software.
