This Entry Level Computer Server Technician Position Features:

This Entry Level COMPUTER SERVER TECHNICIAN will be working in one of the Top Fortune 500 Companies.
Long Term Contract that has the potential on getting converted into a permanent role.
Prior experience (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED) in server assembly, software installation, server operation, and debug or OPEN TO CANDIDATES that is willing to learn quickly, multi-task, and work in a fast pace environment.
We are looking for candidates that are SELF STARTER & HIGHLY MOTIVATED.
The candidate will be working alone often and will need to be able to prioritize issues and work without close oversight.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
* Ability to install and remove CPUs, memory, peripherals, and storage media.
* Basic proficiency in Windows Server, Linux, Unix
* Rack, build, cable, configure, and provision Intel and Advance
* Rack, cable, and deploy Cisco Layer 2 networking equipment
* Troubleshoot, test, quality assurance of server hardware
* Professionally resolve hardware issues via trouble ticket
* Stock control and management of stock items to have or to dispose
* Physical Requirements – Candidate needs to be able to lift 50lbs and be flexible enough to get under a raised floor as needed.
YOU ARE ALREADY GREAT AT THESE:
* CompTIA A+ Certification (Nice to have but not required)
* Web Server and Database installation experience a plus
* Warehouse Inventory control experience
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
* Ability to work in a team environment.
* Friendly, helpful and a can-do attitude.
