We are looking for a Contracts Administrator for a large organization in Lake Mary, FL
Pay: $36/hour
Type: Temp role until March 2025 at this time
Location: Hybrid role in Lake Mary, FL – 3 days on site, 2 days remote
Job Description:
• Manages the end-to-end coordination and support of contracts including planning, negotiating, and executing/renewing in coordination with business lines.
• Develops and implements plans, trackers, goals, and objectives for any number of broad-based projects.
• Tracks, updates, and analyzes data to ensure accuracy of repositories and alignment with policies and procedures
• Acts as primary point of contact for departments, clubs, clients, and vendors regarding the department’s contracts.
• Interacts with suppliers to obtain pricing and product specifications, verifies order acknowledgements as needed.
• Conducts RFPs, negotiate with vendors, and prepare appropriate documentation.
• Prepares and delivers presentations and reports as required.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Assists with planning, negotiating, and executing/renewing department contracts in coordination with business lines. Gathers contract information from stakeholders, establishes and adheres to timelines, and negotiates to reduce risk and ensure savings.
• Maintains knowledge of organizational rules affecting procurement and provides information about these rules to internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborates with other departments, especially Legal, to ensure contract compliance with Legal requirements and adhere to the Legal approval process.
• Serves as a subject matter expert of department agreements/vendor partnerships by building strong relationships with colleagues to understand business needs.
• Maintains records in multiple systems and ensures accuracy and effectiveness of repositories.
• Researches, tracks, and analyzes complex reports and rectifies or identifies trends or problems.
• Assists with special projects such as pulling documents/files/records for audits and various analyses.
• Updates department database, maintains complex reports, and runs queries when requested.
• Facilitates communication between departments, clubs, clients, and/or vendors by answering questions regarding departments’ programs and resolving complaints. May negotiate extensions of deadlines.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field required.
• At least three years in a similar position preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in managing multi-tasked projects.
• Ability to demonstrate excellent analytical skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to present ideas effectively both orally and written.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects.
• Strong research skills
• Proficient in standard PC applications
• Thorough understanding of contract types
Preferences:
• At least three years in a similar position preferred.
• PMP Certification preferred
