Position Title: Construction Controller

Direct Hire - Fully Onsite - West Mifflin, PA

We are seeking a skilled Construction Controller to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in construction accounting and financial management. As a Construction Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of construction projects, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities:

-Manage all financial aspects of construction projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
-Develop and maintain project budgets, ensuring alignment with financial goals and objectives.
-Monitor project financial performance, analyzing variances and identifying areas for improvement.
-Prepare financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.
-Coordinate with project managers and stakeholders to provide financial guidance and support.
-Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments and collections.
-Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
-Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

-Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred; CPA certification preferred.
-Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction accounting or financial management.
-Strong knowledge of construction industry practices, including job costing, contract management, and revenue recognition.
-Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
-Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
-Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
-Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
