Fast paced Global Logistics Transportation company is looking to hire (20) Entry Level - Mid Level Logistics Customer Service Rep's to support various divisions of the company working in locations 90221, 90745 and 90023.
**MUST HAVE previous experience in one of the following industries: Logistics, Ports, Freight Forwarder, Transportation, Supply Chain Logistics, Trucking, LTL, FTL, FCL, LCL, Harbor Drayage, Warehousing & Distribution, 2PL, 3PL, 4PL, 5PL, Air Freight Forwarding, Ocean Freight Forwarding, and/or Freight Transport **
**ONCE HIRED, COMPANY WILL FULLY TRAIN
**Bilingual Spanish is a plus, but NOT REQUIRED
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Enter new orders, schedule shipments, provide documentation, obtain the necessary information for quoting, and pickup information from customers
•Responds to customer service and rate quote inquiries in a proactive manner via email and phone
•Scanning, faxing, photocopying and filing of documents
•Assigning of image type and order number
•Blocks out any charges prior to scanning
•Filling of images received outside of normal billing
•Enter new orders, schedule shipments, provide documentation, obtain the necessary information for quoting, and pickup information from customers
•Consistently meet and exceed customer expectations and provide exceptional customer service
•Track customer and vendor shipments
•Document all relevant information pro-actively in our TMS and CRM systems
•Preparing spreadsheets and financial reports, filing insurance claims, and setting shipping rates
•Determines all internal/external customer requests (i.e. billing problems, billing disputes, tracing problems, POD request or other administrative functions) are promptly and properly answered/resolved within 48 hours of receipt
•Inputs bookings when called in from the customer
•Investigates problems noted with customers, responds and takes corrective action to avoid similar problems in the future
•Investigates cubing discrepancies and determines who is correct
•Forwards the results of any "judgmental" situations with respect to its dock errors or changes for billing purposes
•Follows up on pay in advance shipments
•Interacts with other offices with respect to customer requests, bill problems and OS&D
•Coordinates pickups with appropriate carrier
•Supports receptionist by filling in on breaks
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
•High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
•6 months+ office experience is required
•Natural ability to multi-task, prioritize duties, and organize
•Able to process high volume transactions in a fast-paced environment via Phone and Email
•Must work well in a team environment.
