We are looking for a Licensed Customs Brokerage Specialist with expert knowledge in customs and other government regulations. Duties and Responsibilities
? Develop internal company policies and see that they are respected.
? Make sure the organization has a clearly defined program for complying with the country’s laws.
? Constantly report to management concerning the organization’s compliance with laws and regulations.
? Take action in dealing with noncompliance situations, creating realistic plans to overcome them.
? Conduct regular audits to identify potential weaknesses and noncompliance situations.
? Communicate with employees and make sure everyone is aware of what they need to do to comply with internal and external laws and regulations.
? Adhere to, train, and advise the team in areas of Customs Brokerage Regulations.
? Monitor the team’s performance against company standards and department goals; regular audit of shipment documents and accounting.
? Monitor problem entries and implement corrective action when needed.
? Issue SOPs to team members to ensure timely and orderly workflow including release, billing, and auditing.
Requirements and Qualifications
? Minimum 5+ years customs brokerage experience required
? Licensed Customs Broker required
? Experience with CargoWise software preferred
? College degree preferred
? Proven competencies in Microsoft Office products required
? Bilingual English and Mandarin preferred
