A reputable medical device manufacturer in Goleta, CA is seeking an Image Processing Design Intern to join their team! The ideal candidate will have an educational background in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with minimal hands-on experience in the industry.

Pay: $21-$28 an hour
Duration: Ongoing until August 2025
Location: Hybrid in Goleta, CA 93117
Schedule: 4/10 work schedule – Monday – Thursday, 7 AM – 6PM. Monday & Thursday Remote; Tuesday & Wednesday On-site; Every Friday off. Remote equipment provided.

**Must be local to the Santa Barbara/Goleta, CA area. Will not consider relocation**

Job Duties:
-Assist in measurement, design, simulation, and test of image processing for camera processors, video display, and image compression.
-Provide analytical support of image processing system performance to the product development teams.
-Design test procedures, test fixtures, and other testing support.

Requirements:
-Experience with computer simulation using MATLAB and Simulink.
-Knowledge of linear systems, filter design, and spectral analysis.
-Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
